If most ballroom dance studios have qualified and friendly instructors, offer private and group lessons and host practice dance parties, aren’t they all the same?  Does it really matter where you decide to take lessons?  Yes it does!  There are five main things that can make a huge difference in the quality of the experience you will encounter while taking ballroom dance lessons.  Your overall enjoyment and satisfaction of being involved in dancing, hinges on these five factors.

1. UNDERSTANDING - We understand the needs & concerns of people who are new to Ballroom Dancing. When most people begin taking dance lessons, they may feel a little apprehensive.  They might be under the impression that they will look foolish in front of the other people who “really know what they’re doing.”  In our beginner classes, everyone is in the same boat.  All class members are at the same level… brand new beginners!  This way no one needs to feel self-conscious or nervous about not being good enough.  Our instructors make learning to dance, easy and FUN!

2. FRONT DESK, CUSTOMER SERVICE STAFF ALWAYS AVAILABLE DURING CLASS TIMES - Customer service is what sets us apart from other ballroom dance studios.  We have a customer service associate on staff in our dance studio during class and lesson times.  If you have any questions about payments, remaining lessons or new classes, you don’t have to wait for an answer.  Our goal is to make your experience with us a pleasant one.  We will always have someone on duty to help!

3. GREAT INSTRUCTORS, CONVENIENCE & MODERN FACILITIES - Our instructors are experienced and qualified professionals who make learning to dance easy and FUN!  Our stylish and modern new studio offers three separate lesson rooms and provides ample and convenient parking!  We have multiple instructors and multiple rooms to provide ease of scheduling.  Having three dance rooms and five well-trained and experienced dance instructors, makes it easier for you to schedule your lessons at your convenience!

4. FOUR FABULOUS WEEKLY DANCE PARTIES - We hold practice dances, which are just for beginner dancers so you can come out and practice what you are learning without the intimidation of the “really good” dancers being on the dance floor.  We offer four fabulous weekly dance parties.  The best way to progress and become an excellent dancer is not only to take lessons, but is to practice what you are learning in between your lessons.  Our dance parties allow you to do that.  We offer a “Saturday Night Dance Party” designed for all levels of dancers, a “Beginner’s Ballroom Bash Practice Party,” designed for beginner dancers only, a night of dancing at Victoria Inns and Suites and a wonderful “Friday Night Dance Party” at Let's Dance Studios.  We are the only ballroom studio in the Scranton, PA area to offer all these options to practice your new dance steps and have fun in the process!

5. FRESH, UP-TO-DATE & PROGRESSIVE BALLROOM DANCE MUSIC -  In our lessons and at our dance parties we play the best Swing, Latin and Ballroom dance music.  The “Friday Night Mixer Party” and “Saturday Night Dance Party” feature a mix of contemporary and classic ballroom music to satisfy everyone’s taste.  At our FREE night at Victoria Inns & Suites, we play a progressive mix.  The night starts out with a well-balanced mix of Swing, Latin & Smooth Ballroom dance music, and as the evening “progresses” the mix features more West Coast Swing, Hustle, Nightclub Two-Step and Latin.  It is truly a night for all types of dancers.  And finally, our “Beginner’s Ballroom Bash Party” features great music at slower tempos which make it easier for beginner dancers to practice and gain confidence on the dance floor.
